IBE Education Program

In the fast-paced world of hairstyling, achieving recognition and advancing your career often hinges on obtaining certifications and mastering specialized skills. Within the realm of hair extensions, the IBE® program offers a structured pathway for stylists to elevate their expertise and establish themselves as leaders in the field. Let's delve into the differences between the various designations within the IBE® program—Certified Stylist, Certified Salon, Master Technician, and Elite Artist—and what sets each apart.

Understanding Certified Stylists, Certified Salons, Master Technicians, and Elite Artists

IBE® Certified Stylist:

Becoming an IBE® Certified Stylist marks the initial step in your journey towards excellence in hair extensions. This designation signifies that you have completed the foundational training modules offered by IBE®, equipping you with essential skills and techniques to install and blend hair extensions seamlessly.

Certified Stylists undergo rigorous training, including high-definition instructional videos and one-on-one mentorship, allowing them to learn at their own pace while receiving personalized guidance. This certification is ideal for stylists looking to establish a solid foundation in hair extensions and begin building their clientele with confidence.

Certified Stylist Training

IBE® Master Technician:

Elevating your status from Certified Stylist to Master Technician is a significant milestone in professional growth. To achieve this designation, stylists must complete the comprehensive IBE® Masters Technique Course, designed to refine and enhance their skills to the highest level.

Master Technicians delve deeper into advanced techniques, honing their craft under the guidance of seasoned mentors. One of the distinguishing features of this certification is the submission of a minimum of 50 required rows to your IBE® technique mentor for approval, ensuring that you can execute techniques flawlessly in real-world scenarios. This intensive course studies the science of the scalp, and how it applies to a healthy and safe hair extension application. At the end of this course, you will feel confident with any type of high-risk client and be equipped with the knowledge necessary to install a healthy row.

Master Technician Training

IBE® Elite Artist:

The designation of Elite Artist signifies a mastery of both technical expertise and artistic creativity in the realm of hair extensions. Elite Artists are recognized for their exceptional skills and completion of the entire IBE® Masters course, setting the standard for excellence in the industry.

To attain the status of Elite Artist, stylists must demonstrate a profound understanding of advanced extension techniques, in Color, Cutting, and Technique. An Elite Artist will also take an intensive course focusing on business strategies to help them become a highly sought-after stylist in the extension industry, as well as achieving an understanding of how to properly set up and run a successful business. This certification represents a commitment to continued education and pushing the boundaries of what a hairstylist can create in terms of their career. This is the highest educational designation that a stylist can achieve at IBE®.

Elite Artist Achievement

IBE® Certified Salon:

An IBE® Certified Salon is a salon that has taken an extra step to meet the highest standards of the Invisible Bead Extensions® method. To earn this designation, a salon must have four or more IBE® Certified Stylists on staff, ensuring that the method is deeply integrated into the salon and not just offered by a single stylist. This means the salon is committed to proper training, consistency, and delivering the IBE® experience as it was designed.

For clients, choosing an IBE® Certified Salon provides added peace of mind. It tells you that multiple stylists in the salon are trained in the patented IBE® method, so you can trust the quality, care, and results you receive regardless of who you book with. It also makes scheduling easier and more flexible, while ensuring your extensions are installed by professionals who follow the same trusted standards focused on scalp health, longevity, and natural looking results.
