MAPPING YOUR FOUNDATION

Your rows are only as strong as the foundation they’re built on. In this class, we take a technical approach to bone structure, sectioning strategy, and scalp elasticity so you can customize your installs for every head shape. You’ll learn to avoid high-risk placements that cause tension and discomfort, and instead master how to lay the groundwork for long-lasting comfort and seamless blends. This is where expert-level installs begin.

FLAWLESS FOUNDATION

This class focuses on the mechanics that make or break your beadwork—the true foundation of every row. You’ll learn how to create consistent beads, maintain even tension, find the correct tension gap, and spot mistakes that lead to incorrect or uneven beadwork. We’ll also cover how body positioning and hand placement impact your precision. Inconsistent beadwork weakens the entire row—this class shows you how to avoid it with clean, consistent technique.

PRECISION WITH CLIPPING & STITCHING

These final steps of your install can make or break the row. You’ll learn how to clip wefts securely to prevent shifting or looseness that can cause bubbles or waviness in the row. We’ll cover correct needle placement, tight and precise stitching, and how to secure the row without creating bulk. These finishing touches are what keep your rows tight, flat, and seamless from start to finish.

ADVANCED PLACEMENT

This class dives into placement strategies that go beyond your traditional 1 and 2-row installs. You’ll learn how and when to use 3+ rows, mini rows, nape rows, split rows, and more-expanding your ability to customize for unique client needs. We’ll cover how to section and build rows with purpose while supporting style flexibility and keeping scalp health a priority.

SCALP SCIENCE

This class takes an in-depth look at scalp health and how it directly impacts your installs. You’ll learn how to assess scalp elasticity, density, and movement—and how each of these factors should guide your placement, beadwork, and weight distribution. We’ll cover how to identify for sensitive or reactive areas, and make informed decisions that protect the integrity of the scalp over time. Understanding what’s happening beneath your foundation is essential to creating long-lasting, comfortable installs.
